About Cooma House on Flinders Island: Come and stay at Cooma House at Historic Badger Corner on Flinders Island. Hosted accommodation at Cooma House provides an ideal location from which to spend a week exploring the most historic and interesting island in Bass Strait. Situated on a large tract of sculptured bushland, a short stroll to the beach and boat ramp, Cooma house is large and spacious. It offers both inside and outside living. The accommodation at Cooma House is in a separate wing. There are 2 double bedrooms with eastern sea views and a shared bathroom, with additional overflow of two single beds or day couches in the Gallery room. Cooma House has a large 'L' shaped living area, large dining table and spacious sitting room which features an open fire place, all with sea views. A three sided open courtyard includes a fire pit with barbeque. Flinders Island is serviced by several air companies and vehicles can be hired at the town of Whitemark.
