Rates

Your stay includes use of the homestead situated by a pristine creek, 400 acres of freehold farm used as a
location for the filming of "The Man from Snowy River". Stockyard is surrounded by State Forest and has a
spectacular lookout which casts the eye deep into the High Country.

Stockyard is suitable for families and/or groups with appropriate rates applying. There is a minimum hire fee and
we are happy to negotiate, particularly for larger groups. Dogs and horses are welcome (outside) and Wendy
would be pleased to show people the facilities and discuss special requirements.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
Under 30 days, 75% of full payment is required.

Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 60% of deposit.
Cancellations notified between 11 and 30 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 30% of deposit.
Cancellations notified 10 days prior or less to arrival - deposit forfeited.
All cancellations must be in writing - fax or e-mail acceptable.

WE SUPPLY

Firewood, Gas, Water, Cutlery and Crockery, Glassware and Cooking Utensils, the kitchen includes a commercial
gas stove and refrigeration.

There are 28 beds in 3 bunkroom style rooms. The bunks have covered mattresses and pillows. Also available
are 3 double rooms which attract a higher tariff. These rooms can be supplied with linen and bedding.

Outdoor Fire, BBQ, lakeside deck and lounge dining room with large open fire.

A great location near the famous Howqua River, legendary trout fishing, bird life, magnificent bush land,
spectacular scenery, and most importantly - seclusion, privacy and tranquillity.

Contract Cleaning and Rubbish removal

It is expected that the homestead and surrounds be left as you find them. We supply contract cleaning but ask
you to remove your own rubbish. There is no service for this in the valley. Garbage bags are supplied.

Dine in catering and catering for functions is available on request, and yes - we do have a coffee
plunger!

Meals

With prior notice, guests may have a catered for stay. Discussions on menus and for individual requirements
are welcomed. Care will be taken to ensure the various dietary needs in today's community are met.

YOU SUPPLY

Your own bedding. Sheets, blankets, doonas etc... You can hire bedding from us by prior arrangement.

Bathtowels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper etc..

Food. Be sure to include all items, including sugar, milk, tea and coffee, salt and pepper.

Torch, Hats, Coats, comfortable clothes and footwear, Camera.
